UPDATES

Sept. 11th, 2019-The Kanawha Valley Collective is currently accepting new items for the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen for newly housed, formerly homeless individuals. You can drop off items at the United Way of Central West Virginia Monday through Thursday, 8am-4pm and Fridays 8am-2pm.

Our Household Items Drive runs from Sept. 3rd-18th, however, we will continue collecting these items afterwards. All household items will be distributed to KVC agency partners to give to formerly homeless people moving into housing.

​

Here's a complete list of items we are requesting:

Plates, Bowls, Cups, Flatware, Knives, Can Opener, Tumblers, Cookie Sheet, Kitchen Towel, Dish Clothes, Sponges, Paper Towels, Pot Holder, Food Storage, Ice Cube Trays, Foil, Spatula, Big Spoon, Sink Strainer, Trash Can, Trash Bags, Toothbrushes, Washcloths, Towels, Shower Curtain, Shower Liner, Hooks, Plunger, First Aid kit, Brush/ Comb, Toilet Brush and Holder, Toilet Paper, Hand Towel, Toothpaste, Hand soap, Hand Towel, Pillow, Pillow Case, Blanket, Hangers, Dish Soap, Laundry Detergent, Laundry Basket, Dust Pan, Broom, Mop, and Bucket.
